Some good some bad

By Backcountry.com Employee September 14, 2009

This bag has some nice features, it has large holster type holders and they have elastic cords to secure your water bottles which not many lumbar backs don't. It's a fairly large back with well designed pockets and padding and I didn't find it hot of uncomfortable and it didn't bounce around while riding even on horrible downhills. I loaded 2 liters of water, a 6x8 foot tarp, rain jacket, nutrition bars, ipod, headlamp and odd personal effects and the bag worked well. The bad is one of the elastic straps that hold the water bottles broke and one of the zippers came unsticthed. To be fair, I was very hard on it and the forces of riding down hills and over rocks are pretty high but then it only lasted one week of serious battering.
