until my winter arc teryx arrives. I ordered this coat in slate for a trip to Alaska. I fell in love with the coat for too many reasons to list: warm, wind protection, hood, soft inside, kept me dry...the list can go on. I wore this coat motorcycling and ocean traveling as a base layer, I wore the coat as a top layer for making campfires, hiking 3200 ft, and traveling to the end of the road, McCarthy. It looks great, and makes me feel happy! It makes me look forward to a Wisconsin winter because I know that I will be warm. If I could, I would give this coat more than 5 stars.
