wonderful pants, but beware...

I love these pants, but I find that the cut varies pretty wildly from pair to pair. I bought a pair in a store and fell in love with them, and so ordered 2 more pair off of Backcountry, but will have to return one pair because the waist is gaping on me (and the other is slightly tight)! I'm 5'11"/135lbs, and usually wear an 8L, but wear a 6L in these. If you can find a pair that fits you, they are AWESOME. The cut is flattering for those of us who have hips and a butt - the slightly relaxed fit and bootcut combo are sweeet.
So, TNF, thank you for making pants for us tall ladies, but please have your factories in India turn out a more standardized product :)

I agree that the cut must vary widely. I ordered the size I normally wear in North Face pants and they were very tight, had to send them back. Loved the fabric and the look, not sure whether to give it another try hoping the size is better or not.
