what is wrong with me buying a pink jacket?

I wore this on campus at KU and it did nothing to stop the wind. too bulky to wear with a shell. Do not buy this if you want to stay warm outside. It's good maybe 2 days a year - Kansas is windy. I was happier with a columbia titanium jacket that completely blocks wind. Maybe I'm not understanding how to use this jacket. I guess it would be good for sitting in an air conditioned room.
also the pink is pepto pink... if you think you will like this jacket 4 years after you buy it, trust me you won't. i don't even know where the damn thing is and i assure you i'm not looking too hard.
