Scarpa Zen Multisport Shoe - Men's

Not so sticky

By Ranked #745 - Men's Hiking Shoes September 1, 2009

I got these shoes for a rock climbing trip Grand Teton...was not 100% happy with the stickiness of the rubber, ended up using some 510 shoes from the guiding company that were much better, the Zens are cool looking and comfortable shoes but not so great on the rock.

Yeah absolutely. These aren't climbing shoes. You're supposed to wear them to GET to the rock. Then use climbing shoes for, well, climbing.

Of course this shoe wouldn't be a good shoe for wall climbing face all day- thus the catagory "approach shoe" It's made for light bouldering and scrambling, not for strict pitch climbing like- how do you say it? CLIMBING SHOES
