Ranked #625 - Men's Softshell Pants
September 1, 2009
I used these pants for one season for hiking, trail running and backcountry skiing in Alaska. They fit like a nice pair of pants and have a real style to them. With the Odin base layer I was always warm and never too hot. The vents on the inner thigh are a relief when jogging. My main critique is that they're not good for glissade (sliding down snow on your butt). After one season, they're torn and unusable. I didn't run into any rocks, so it seems odd that sliding on snow and ice would rip them up like this. RIP, I'll miss them.
