Medium compacts 3 days of clothes to nothing. Although the final shape is not perfectly square (or rectangular) I like it a lot better than the round sacks. Only the compression ends are squared, the sack part is round, maybe add some seams to make it squarish?? Definitely worth the money though. I am buying a large for my 15 degree synthetic bag because the medium was alittle too much hassle for stuffing.

I think that more seams would be weakspots when compressed, but I understand your argument completely, Maybe a fold and a reinforced seam, but I think that still kills the simplicity of the design.
