I used this tent in the rain and it worked just like it is supposed to. Im a bigger guy so it was important to get a lightrweight tent that had a decent amount of room for me and my pack or me and another person. This tent has both. It is a bigger tent so it weighs a little more than I would like but as far a sprice, durability and space it is a great tent
