I got mine at a steal of a deal and I am known to be hell on gear, and it seems to be holding its own. The water proofing is starting to fade but is has seen SEVERAL torrential downpours for hours at a time. The seam seal around the hood seperated at on point, but has yetto affect the performance. It is not breathable when totally zipped up but crack the vents and you are good to go. The material has been very abrasion resistant for the year I have had it. Overall I would say its a good jacket.
