Knee Time
By Kretzky
Ranked #85 - Men's Ski Pants
August 6, 2009
These pants saw a lot of use last year on casual days skiing, big trips, and weekly as a patroller. The pants kept me dry through some lovely east coast winter rainstorms. The knees held up while spending a lot of time on them tending to patients on east coast ice, which will tear up lesser fabrics. The cargo pockets are great for storing snacks, or medical supplies when patrolling (and skiing with crazy friends).
So if you plan on spending lots of time on your knees - these pants are for you.
If you don't - buy 'em anyways, they're bulletproof.
Sizing - I'm an athletic 6' 175lbs and went with a large. Fits good through the hips, but they're a little big in the waist. Medium was just too tight through the hips, but good at the waist. That's why I they get 4 stars instead of 5. They're perfect for anyone that doesn't have big quads.
