Fleeting Comfort

These are super comfortable but falling apart after only one month. So buyer beware.

The positives
• They are the most comfortable sandal I have ever owned.
• They have not become stinky even after multiple trips through white water and rivers.
• I have got a lot of compliments on the color (light green ones with gray).
• The rubber is A+! it is sticky when wet and when dry.

However, There is a problematic negative. These shoes are NOT built tough. More like built rough. The stitching is terrible.
After the first weekend of having them some of the stitching came apart on the side I tied it off and it seems to be fine, however that shoe is just a little loser now. I also have more than one hole in the liner fabric because of the poor attention paid to the stitching on the side pieces and back pieces. I know this soft fabric is the reason the shoe is so comfortable but wherever there is a leather accent piece there is also a hole is forming in the liner fabric (pout).

So overall even though they are uber comfy, I wonder how long they will hold up. We'll see.
I will not be purchasing another pair for this price if they fall apart too soon.
Doesn't look so good after one month but they are really very comfortable

Write your comment here...You need to contact the Keen company, they will replace them for nothing, you just have to send a picture of them and what is happening and they will replace. They are perhaps some of the best people to work with. Go to the internet and look them up. they have a customer service area that is great.

I just bought a pair of these sandals for a week long camping/canoe trip. I was in and out of the water, jumping out of the canoe to land it for portages, then jumping back into the canoe from water to take off on the other end. At the beginning, these shoes were perfect. They dried quickly & kept my feet from getting hurt on sharp rocks in the water. About three days in, the stitching started to unravel just like you have shown in the picture on the bottom. The support went from awesome, to non-existent. I'm planning on returning mine for warranty issues.
