I wear medium and ordered these in a large - with a layer of fleece, poly pros, and under armor, there is not enough room to move. Returned for a larger size.

5'11'' - weigh about 185. I found they fit just fine with 2 layers but when you go for three - the fit is a bit, not tight, but not really where you don't have to adjust them before you take a big step up. I planned to use for ice climbing - I bought the extra large and love the little extra room I get. I wear nothing in extra large - I swim in everything else, but this in xl fits nicely w/ layers under it.
