These shoes are great for running, but are not meant for not running. They are good if you are moving but if you stay in one place for a while, your heal may start to hurt. But they are made for running so I think it is a great shoe. Also, they keep your feet dry. When the shoe gets wet it feels like your foot is wet but it isn't really. All Gore-Tex footwear I've had is like that, but it keeps your foot dry which is what it is made to do.

Hunter, could you precise your comment? What do you mean by "f you stay in one place for a while, your heal may start to hurt"? There's no reason for that bad feeling in the heel area when you aty static, I would argue that this shoe is really comfortable in static position because the width of the sole, combined with the chassis in the heel's area provide a great natural stability and reduces all the micro adjustments your body as to do to stay balanced. But you maybe mean something else
