Ranked #478 - Women's Technical Sandals

Like the color, style and fit. However, not nearly as rugged as I thought they may be (compared to a previous pair of Columbias I owned). Rather "thin" feeling in comparison. Also, in less than a month the left sandal shows signs of wear! Cracking of the rubber material on the top near the toes. I wear these on a 4 mile walk, 3-4 times per week - at the most. Absolutely should NOT be cracking or wearing this soon. Orginally I THOUGHT these may be good for hiking, but definitely not. The tread on the bottom is also rather wimpy compared to others I've owned as well. A casual sandal yes, a rugged hiking sandal no. A nice feature I haven't uitlized yet, the back strap can be completely removed if you want. All the straps are velcro and there are three different areas to adjust the fit.

These are obviously not supposed to be worn walking 16 miles a week. These are for walking on the boardwalk, shopping outside, maybe light hiking on flat land, and water. You should be wearing Asics if you wanna walk 16 miles a week or get some actual hiking boots if you're going to be in the woods.
