Big pack, Huge in fact!

I bought this pack for a 3 week trip to Italy. The pack would have been perfect but it was a bit heavy even by itself at just over 6lbs. You add stuff to it and if you have very far to walk in the heat and humidity...your done. The day pack was a great size for a jacket, snacks and a travel book. The bottle holder is too small for a full size nalgene but worked for the smaller camleback bottle I used. Knowing the straps are safe from baggage carousels, handlers and the like is a nice feature. The rain shild a plus for sure. Overall liked the pack but it was just too big and heavy for my liking. I switched to a 50L pack weighing only 3 lbs.
