Gear Review
Expectations Met.

Three stars because I think the retail price is too high for what you are getting. The jacket is extremely light and minimal, which is great, but that means there are a few downsides. I find it's too sparse on creative design elements that could really set the jacket above competing products without adding too much weight or cost. My main complaints are that the pit zips gape when fully open which is no good in the wind and the hood cinch/format is a bit cumbersome. In terms of function, it keeps me dry but does not breathe very well (as expected for this type of jacket). I carry this jacket every day, since summer is now officially monsoon season in New England. At $50 you would be getting your moneys worth
