First adventure in these boots was hiking Mt. McDonald in the Missions Mt. Range in MT. 12 miles, 6,000 feet of vert in one day with snow, brush, creeks, rock hopping, and post digging with an ice axe. You want the best boot out there, you get these! Fit true to size. (Running shoe for me is 10.5, 10.5 in boots.
