Ranked #708 - Men's Backpacking Boots
July 17, 2009
I needed to upgrade my hiking boots to backpacking boots, and as I love my North Face hiking boots, I figured, why not? They are perfect; fit, waterproof, and supportive on my first trip into the Emigrant Gap wilderness in Tahoe Nat'l Forest. Great on loose rocks, which were plentiful, great on long uphill climbs (also plentiful) but 3 days didn't even begin to make my feet anything but comfy.
