Gear Review
Just what they say they are

Ranked #226 - Men's Trail Run Shoes

I've used these shoes now for just over a year.
Solid performance; they are just as advertised - nothing more, nothing less. They are in no way waterproof, but on the same token they breathe exceptionally well (and dry quick), and you don't even know they are on your feet. I have used them extensively in the cold (-15F and up) and with a moderate sock they keep feet warm, and have exceptional traction on snowpack. They do seemingly let in (very fine) debris while running in sand and dust, but that is just part of the game.
I like them so much I use them now for an everyday shoe as well, and they DO wear out. I had a similar experience as someone above, as the mesh over the toe begins to deteriorate with time, and it didn't take much impact from a stick to rip it open - but that is just the cost of an ultralight shoe.
I love them and will be purchasing my third pair.
On a sidenote - I had terrible luck with the ortholite insoles (my feet literally hurt after any extended use) but superfeet naturally solved the problem.
