The description of this boat says "beginner to intermediate" No way, Jose! I've spent a bit of time in rented sit inside kayaks on both smooth and choppy lakes with water skiers, and lots of canoe time on lakes and class I and Class II rivers, so i am a beginner. When i saw the rounded bottom of my new boat my heart sank. Sure enough, my teenage daughter (who has a little bit of experience too) flipped her boat getting in. We were in the water less than five minutes when an unexpected breeze suddenly flipped me over. These are *NOT* beginner boats, no way. I also don't like the seat. Though it is a sitontop, i think they could have formed it so the rider sits a bit deeper and closser to the water. i feel like i'm in a cabin cruiser when i'm on it, not like a kayak at all. the hardware along the gunwales for attaching optional gear is so chintzy and has such tiny openings that their usefulness is really limited, also their attachment to the hull looks so flimmsy that i'd be afraid if i had to depend on them for much of anything. I just wanted a beginners boat I'm really disappointed and i feel i was really mislead by the "beginner to intermediate" description.
