Ranked #759 - 3-Season Tents
July 2, 2009
I bought this tent as a car camping tent alternative to my backpacking tent. There are so many things I didn't like about it, I'm not sure where to start: poor design, questionable construction, heavy, burly poles, difficult setup, slack pitch. It is billed as a backpacking tent, but I couldn't imagine hauling it for any distance. It is even a struggle to get it back in it's bag. Even at under $100 on SAC, I still sent it back. I thought about giving it to a friend for a beginner tent and eat the loss, but I think more of my friends than to do that to them. Ground needs to start at ground zero on this one.
