I am a solo hiker, but bought this set as i am introducing my kids to hiking. Perfect setup for two which aleviates your partners additional set. To help with the questions below, you can fit an MSR Pocket rocket and a 3.53oz Jetboil canister (not included) along with a bic lighter in this setup. The rocket is out of its case and is protected in the set. I got one of the first sets which did not come with the sporks, so your getting a bonus with this kit. This set heats quickly, evenly and cleans real well. I love it!!!

Dan, Just to tweak that last comment, My set was first generation without the sporks! And my rocket is not in its protective red case as it is protected in the setup. Follow jerrys (above) load instructions and it should come together.....Jim

Dan, The jetboil so far is the only canister i've used that will fit in this set up. I havent tried the snowpeak yet as they are not readily available here in FL.

Correction on my previous comment - the MSR canisters are not 5 oz., they are 4 oz. (113g). I must be getting old. :)

I also have this set with the MSR Pocket Rocket. I haven't tried the Snow Peak canister, but I know that the MSR 5 oz. and the Jetboil 100g canisters will both fit inside the set with the Pocket Rocket in the soft stove case. The 5 oz MSR canisters actually fit slightly better than the smaller 100g Jetboil canisters because the Jetboil canisters are just slightly taller. If you are having trouble fitting the Pocket Rocket then you just need to get a little creative with how you are packing the cookset and stove all together. Place one of the bowl lids on the very bottom, then the canister, then an upside down bowl over the canister. Then place the stove/foons/lighter/etc. inside the second bowl and place that upside down over the other bowl. Then the second lid, then finally place the pot lid over it all and snap the handle over the top. If it doesn't fit with just a very slight amount of compression then you may need to flip one or both of the bowl lids and repack it. Once you have done it a couple times it goes together very easily and makes a very nice compact unit in your pack. Just one more comment - for the 3-4 ounces of weight that this set has over a similar sized titanium set, I will take the hundred bucks I saved buying this aluminum set and spend it on gear that will give me more of a weight savings.

Daniel, I have the smaller 3.53oz 100g Jetboil canister which fits perfectly in this setup. Yes, the 220g would be too big to to fit. I have used Jetboils, Coleman and MSR canisters with this stove, but the 100g jetboil canisters are the only ones that fit. Hope that helps!

Jim I have a MSR Pocket Rocket and use a snow peak 220g fuel canister. I have been unable to fit the stove in with this set up. Is the Jetboil Canister the only one you have used with the Pinnacle and Pocket rocket. In other word do you think my canister is just a little to big.
