Gear Review
Very functional pack for your laptop

I held out for a while before buying a backpack that was especially designed for class and a laptop, but I got tired of stuffing my laptop and cord into my normal pack. So I ordered this, and overall I've been pretty happy with it. It has a nice padded laptop sleeve (with extra straps to hold the laptop in place, but I never use them because they're sort of unnecessary unless you turn your pack upside down while it's open ...), and fits a notebook and a couple of books comfortably. The organizer pocket works well, as does the (small) outer pocket and the bungees. The water bottle pockets are perfect for holding a standard Nalgene or smaller. And the chord/AC adapter pocket at the bottom really makes it all worth it.
The biggest detraction for me is that the straps, while comfortable, are super wide and look, well, kind of dorky. It took me a while to get used to them. Otherwise this looks like a normal North Face pack and doesn't stand out too much as a "school" pack. Overall, it has served me well in law school.
