Great shoes. Lightweight, breathable and very comfortable. Not sold on the BOA lacing system yet, we'll see how they perform on the next hike. Other than that though, definitely worth the money.

I have been wearing this exact shoe for more than a year with no issue from the BOA lacing. In fact, it's my preferred airport shoe since it's easy to just pop the top and pull them off and then cinch them down again quickly.

I have never had a single issue with the BOA laces. In fact, I look for them on my outdoor shoes now. If you're concerned they'll break, they wont.

I like the shoes but am leary of the BOA system, other brands have horrible reviews of the BOA and now Backcountry.com has a 30 day return policy.
