Ranked #487 - Weeklong Packs (Over 4500 cu in)
June 21, 2009
I took the pack traveling and hiking in Latin America for 9 months and after the first 3-4 months the sleeping pad straps started tearing out, and then both of the plastic braces holding the padding on the waist strap broke on either side and needed to be screwed back in through the internal frame, and one of the zippers broke. if you do a couple hikes a year this pack will last a long time otherwise beware you've been warned good luck.

My pack is almost 4 years old and it goes out at least 10 times a year and some trips are 5 and 6 days. Other then some stains, it's in great shape. Sounds like you got a lemon, bummer... But don't give up on Gregory, great products!
