Would be excellent without the hood....

The style, fit and usefulness of this shirt are all perfect, but the hood is too large and since the fabric is so lightweight, it doesn't stay down when not in use. The hood is especially bothersome if one has to bend down for any reason...then it flops down on one side of the face or the other and is generally a nuisance.
I cut off the hood (all but about 3/4 ") and finished off the neckline by rolling the excess fabric inside and stitching it to the neckline and now this is the perfect summer jacket!
