By Ranked #1835 - Sleeping Bags June 20, 2009

I lead a BSA venture crew and I'm persnickity about my sleeping gear. One of the older scouts brought this bag on a training hike last year and after perusing it over myself decided to buy one. Wow, is it ever compact! My body is very sensitive to cold so if it's rated for 15 degrees I'll be happy to get 35 out of it. Also, we tend to go tentless whenever possible so we have to subject ourselves to occassional cold breezes. This bag stands up to its reputation. I did notice, however, that if you bend at the waist or knee, you can get a cold spot (which I presume can happen in any bag where the loft becomes compressed while bending). Other than that this bag is a fluffy dream!
