Gear Review
Fantastic! - but be kind to it

Ranked #2052 - Men's Technical Shells
June 17, 2009
I debated giving this five stars. I absolutely love the weight (it packs tight and small), the color (looks sweet in person), and protection from the elements (rock solid). I took it on a climb of an 11,000 ft peak - it rained, it hailed, snow and mist swirled around me, but I stayed warm and dry. The downside was when I was fleeing the mountain due to an incoming lightning storm. My concern was for my life more than the jacket and it snagged a tree branch and tore a hole in the sleeve. I hate that I may have to turn this jacket in for a more durable shell. Everything about this jacket I absolutely love, except the hole in the sleeve.
