Battery Compartment not well built

I use this headlamp for caving and I love the flip up lens for dispersed light and the programmable feature is great for getting the ideal battery life/light output combination. The only problem with it is the battery pack. It has a cover that is simply a flexible sleeve which fits over the batteries. It is not dust or water resistant at all. This is a good headlamp, but not for wet or dusty conditions.
