I was skeptical that arc'teryx could live up to all that its name claims...but it did and exceeded all that i desired!! I work all day on the edge of a cliff rappelling kids which makes for a lot of wind, rain, sleet, hail, etc. the jacket slashes all wind and rain. since its a shell its incredibly light, i don't even know i'm wearing it sometimes, and if it gets a lil more chilly i just put on a fleece underneath and good to go. it truly is incredible! get one! it's worth every penny!(and thats a heck of a lot of pennies)
