Gear Review
VST Great shoe

Ranked #219 - Men's Trail Run Shoes

I have owned several pairs of the original Velocity, and would wear them through countless airports, 1 night lightweight backpacking, mountainbiking, limbo dancing, running from concert security, why even trail running several hundred miles. They are awesome. I do find the new VST to fit a bit snugger, and in a quiet room they squeek like a dry hinge on a toilet seat when I walk. What's with that? Is Vasque using Flubber for cushioning? If so, then bring it on since they absorb impact from hardpan better than any trail shoe I've owned. Otherwise, they are my favorite trail runner, with every bit of quality I'm accustomed to from Vasque.
Question: when will the squeaking stop? Should I install a grease fitting or just turn up the Ipod?
