I bought this bag for a 23 day backpacking trip through central Europe. The back support is definitely lacking, but that was no surprise from the reviews. I was able to pack plenty for the trip and leave room for souvenirs. With all the traveling I did on trains and planes it was so nice not to have the straps flailing around, and now I have a great duffel bag. Even with all the weight the bag looks like it is brand new as far as physical wear goes.
