Gear Review
love the shoes...lace system, not so much

These shoes are amazing and initially I was psyched with the lacing system b/c you can really get a tight fit - which is usually a problem for me because I have super narrow feet....but...i've had two pairs in a row on which the lacing system has broken. On any other shoe this might not be a big deal, but there is no way to fix the laces, and if they break when you are in the middle of a 15 mile trail run, in the rain, it sucks.
That being said - I'd like to stress again that these are great trail running shoes, I just wish they'd make the lacing system 1) more durable and 2) replaceable.

Yeah, I just knotted and duct taped my laces and got another season out of them.

My laces busted in the middle of a run too. They do make replacement laces, which i obtained from my local dealer, but good luck figuring out how to "assemble" them. Cut here, burn and fuse together....Not worth it, just going to buy another pair.
