Excellent bags

Ranked #356 - Stuff and Compression Sacks
May 29, 2009
I have a large and it recently spent a night hung in a tree with food through a nasty storm. It probably rained hard for a solid 2 hours or more. It was hanging from the drawstring. Come morning, everything was perfectly dry in the bag. The stream we camped near rose at least two feet that night.
There is a strap attached to the end opposite the drawstring, which may be better for hanging, but it worked just fine hung from the drawstring. It performed better than I expected.
Obviously, it wouldn't be completely waterproof if it were submerged since the end just cinches shut.
