Arch support in a flip-flop

One reviewer said they walked around NYC with these. I was skeptical, but when the sandals arrived, I saw that they had arch support and were light, but sturdy. I almost sent these back because the straps were a little tight. The different straps are made of different materials (2 are canvas, 1 is plasticy and one is something else), but they loosened up (but not too much) aftetr one wear.
