So I ordered the black marble despite only finding reviews on oakley-review.com (4 reviews total all over the internet) I couldnt believe that some of oakley most expense plastic frames were crap. Anyway, these are Oaks top of the line lenses without being glass, polarized, hydrophobic, and a surface "that repels dirt, moisture and skin oils, and an Iridium coating that balances the light passing through to your eyes."
As for the look, these glasses in person are the combination of gascans and Von Zip snarks. Very nice smooth styling with some badass alloy badges and hardware. I gota say that if you have a medium to large sized face, Id give these a try. And dont be a shmuck and get the unpolarized because itd bitter down the deal.
Iv had the vr28 lenses on another set of glasses and like the dim it gave everything but the black iridium of the black marbles darken contrast while the polarized section equals out the exposure.
Honestly, I cant see why Im writing the first review. For the money.. I bought new on ebay and saved 100 bucks, BUT were it my only choice Id pick these up right here instead of getting another style for cheaper. They come with a sickass hardcase, an O sticker, and a burly microfiber cloth. Iv had issues with pads rubbing my nose the wrong way, leaving those damned cherry marks on the bridge. Not these, and I got a pretty fat dome piece if you know what a mean. Backcountry says they spec for medium sized heads and mine is 24 inches around and fit with only slight pressure behind the ears. No headaches, no cherry bridges, no glare..
A buddy of mine tried em on and said, "damn, these would make anyone look good"
what else is there to say..
Shades look dope
Shades operate dope
Shades are dope.. 5 stars, buy it dude
