Gear Review
Not durable enough
By Christopher Smith
May 20, 2009
I bought a 10L version of this back to keep essentials with me on kayaking day trips and it developed a hole on my second outing with it. Since this is supposed to be a dry bag, any size hole is, of course, a big deal. The material feels really burly, but it apparently isn't. Next time, I'm going to try one of SealLine's Black Canyon dry bags (item number CAS0573) in the hopes that it's more durable.

Christopher, I just received my 30L and noticed that the bag has some serious creases down the side, running from the space between the black collars at the top to the base at the bottom. The creased vinyl is discolored and looks compromised to my untrained eye. Is this where your bag's hole developed? Anyone else had trouble with those 2 creased areas on their bag?
