Gear Review
questionable for us

Ranked #652 - Weekend Packs (3000-4500 cu in)
May 20, 2009
We actually returned this pack before using. We had a few issues. First, the pack did not fit well for Nancy, it actually seemed just oddly shaped. For instance, the load lifters ended too short, they needed to be longer. Neither the hip belt nor the harness seems quite right, I have a lot of experience fitting packs and backpacking in general, but could not get this pack to fit her well. Second, little details seemed dubious. Like the mesh shoulder straps and back panel that would seem to be abrasive to bare skin, or the oddly constructed hip belt pockets. We really appreciated the natural color, but little else lined up for us.

Same issues. Load lifters too short. Metal on bone -- ouch! Abrasive even through a shirt. Also, hard to load do to shape of corners. What did you end up with?
