Sea To Summit Alpha Light Utensils

Item #STS0069 | 243 in Stock
1 Star Rating

Short spoon a little too short

By Ranked #152 - Flatware and Utensils May 18, 2009

Just got this not too long ago and was looking for something small that would fit inside of my BC 700ml Ti pot. Tried it out with some freezer bag cooking in my living room and found that this thing 1) does not nest inside the BC pot with stove and canister 2)is just too damn short to really eat with without getting food all over your fingers. Not worth the weight savings. Will return it and go with the regular size or maybe even upgrade to the long seeing that I would have to store it in the brain of my pack anyway. DON'T BUY THE SHORT unless you want to be frustrated.

if you want one that fits in a small pot like the bc 700 then you need one that folds or gsi telescoping(4 inches)for example!! Many better choices, if your gambling!!!

I don't think not knowing which size you will need before purchasing is a good reason to give this utensil a 1-star rating. I don't know why anyone would assume it would fit inside a specific pot and give a 1-star rating when it doesn't. It's just a preference, not a merchandise defect/short-coming.
