Poorly accessible capacity

This bag claims a pretty decent capacity (24L), but I couldn't use perhaps 20% of it due to the idiotic design of the bag. The bag widens at the bottom, and some of the capacity is lost in crevasses that lead to the hip belt, like little hide-away spots, but totally useless. When not full, it sits very nicely against your back, but when it's full, it's not very comfortable. The lid flap is pretty good however. Also, what's up w/ no mesh on the back? Guys, if you want this to be a bike bag, PLEASE put some mesh on the back. I looked like I just swam after wearing this for 30 mins while biking in relatively cool weather. A better pack is something that has an airmesh. Of course, if you're a hipster, you'll probably love this bag. After all, it's called a "messenger bag." It also has a carry stap on the top, to which I fastened a lock and lost the key. So now I have lock right against my back. That's my fault.
