Swamp Shoes

I tried to give them a chance, but I just don't like these shoes and I've stopped wearing them. These are my first pair of synthetic upper climbing shoes, and I'll never buy another pair. They don't breathe at all. In fact, after a few minutes on a couple of climbs, they are an absolute swamp inside, resulting in the performance sucking and Painful twisting and sliding of my feet within the shoe. Plus I find that the rubber is not very sticky. I had such bad luck with them in the gym that I didn't even waste the space to bring them on any of my outside climbing trips. Oh, and if there are any hotspots on your feet when you try them on, believe what they print on the box. They're NOT going to break in, so don't buy/keep them unless you're willing to deal with that pain for the life of the shoe. Very disappointed, as I have loved all of my other Five Tens.
