Ideal 4 season tent
By Kim Havell
Ranked #3 - 4-Season Tents
May 14, 2009
The ideal 2 man 4 season tent that withstands strong winds & heavy snow loads. Extremely durable as well as fairly light- 7lbs. Due to an exterior venting system, it allows air flow that reduces wind effect on the tent. Special features include 2 entrances- 1 with a large vestibule, interior venting zippers, 2 large mesh pockets per side, glow in the dark zippers, vestibule window, mesh screens with hooks, durable floor, and enough space for 3 if you really had to squeeze in there. Have used this tent in the Colorado high country for spring skiing, as well as a tent for 3 people at Camp III on Gasherbrum II last summer (23,500ft). The tent has maintained its structure and performed perfectly, withstanding serious snow loads & high winds upon our return to it from days away at a time.
Quick tip- this tent can be stuffed back into it's sack, so no need to fold it in a precise pattern to get it to fit! Makes packing up & getting out really fast and easy.
