It's stupid light and sets the bar for 3 season tents.

The award winning MSR Carbon Reflex 2 will change the way you judge all other 3 season, double wall tents. Minimal weight, lightening quick set up and simplistic design all make this 2 lb. wonder an object of lust for backers everywhere. Now you can bring a 2- person tent with you and not have to worry about the extra weight. I take the poles out of the stuff sack and put them in my backpack vertically so I can attach the tent to the outside of my pack, then it can pack down to about 9 X 6 inches with aid from your packs exterior adjustment straps. The poles are made from Easton carbon fiber FX and here are only two poles, and one is a half-length pole, I am telling you, they are so light you barely even notice them, it is silly. The fly is this awesome yellow color which is very nice to wake up to and makes you feel better about being sunburned and having a sprained ankle. Attaching the 20D x 330T ripstop nylon 66 1000mm PU & silicone coated fly is done so via clips which mimmick the shape of the poles and snap on, so you do not have to feed them through any loops or moving parts. The fly also has Velcro clips which attach to both poles easily to help keep everything snug. There is also reinforced areas with very durable fabric anywhere the ends of the poles come in contact with the fly so there is no puncturing going on. The tent and the fly cinch up so easily, just by buckles at each corner with nylon webbing which you pull on without breaking a sweat. There is a 113 liter rear vestibule which has a vertical zipper on the 20D mesh wall. the front 270 liter vestibule area can be staked out with two stakes or one and the door is a D-shaped one which along with the fly, can be rolled back and attached with a hook and loop toggle closure for ease of entry when you are going in and out of the tent.
This tent can be converted into a shelter with just the poles, fly and footprint for minimalist freaks. Every time I have used this tent there has been little to none condensation inside in the morning. The height (40 in. total tent volume is 43 cu. ft.) is tall enough to get dressed or roll up your sleeping bag inside. There of course, is a stitched loop on the roof for hanging a lantern and the interior storage is located on the corners and appears to be seemless. This is not a free-standing tent and heavily relies on being staked and guyed out.
It comes with a fly, stuff sack, 8 stakes, 2 poles (w/ separate stuff storage sack), 2 guy-out lines (w/ adjustment brackets).
After market add-ons I suggest getting are the footprint,an MSR Hubba Hubba gear loft, no-tie reflective guy lines, mesh repair and Sierra Designs snow and sand stakes if you are going to be camping on anything other than somewhat hard soil.
