It is light weight, has a long lasting battery light and works well through wet rainy conditions. It is relatively inexpensive and thus a good deal for the price.
I have not experienced any flickering problems even after a good 30 nights of use on the same battery.
The LED lights take some getting used to, as they don't create shadows like traditional lights so it feels like they are less bright when walking.
I prefer the Petzl Tikkina over my Black Diamond because the lamp is permanently affixed to the elastic head strap, unlike the black diamond which clips on...several times they got separated in my pack or it popped off while trying to put the lamp on.
