I wear the Mountain Hardwear Corsica Convertible Pant as shorts most often, but the pants are great for backpacking or for climbing in the spring and fall. The material is very durable, and the rise is a little lower than a normal regular rise. I found these to fit true to size: 5'2", 113 = size 4
