I also got this tent. It was advertised with the included foot print and gear loft, but the tent did not come with them. I contacted backcountry.com and after a few days, they are working with me to get me what was advertised.
When I got the tent, I set it up. It comes with 10 stakes and guy lines. The tent is a little heavy to use for backpacking, but if the weight is split up, I think it will work great. I definitely think this is a 2.5 person tent or two and a dog in the vestibule kind of tent. You would be VERY cozy if you had three people in it.
The tent also did not come with a red tab on the corner of the rain fly and the corner of the tent to match up, to make it really quick to recognize that you are trying to put the rain-fly on sideways, but that is not a big deal to me. It was never claimed on backcountry.com that it did, but a video on Marmot.com said it does.
The tent seems well crafted, fairly large, and the height, in addition to the brow pole, really opens up the tent. The windows seam sturdy, but who knows it they will crack after a few years and create leaks through the tent, but marmot has a lifetime warranty on defects, not really useful though if it is raining and you are camping.
This tent will get a lot of use in the weeks to come....I will keep you posted on the durability and how it does in the wind and rain.
