Got the wrong size and exchanged them, I had some other Salomon's that were good shoes, but these needed to be a 1/2 size bigger than my other pair. I wear them hiking, I like having waterproof at this time of the year and in the fall due to snow and rain. I wore them through a bunch of snow on a hike last weekend and my feet stayed very dry. My only gripe with these type of shoes? To hot in the summer or in any hot weather....So they don't get worn to often in summer....I wear Montrails with nothing but mesh during the summer hikes...
