I love these blue shoes. They are the first pair of climbing shoes I bought, after trying out several others and renting a few more at the local gym, the choice was a no brainer. These fit me very well, and are pretty easy to get on and off, even though they are laces. I really wanted to get a pair of velcro, so that I could get them on and off fast, but my high instep made velcro almost not an option. The rubber is super sticky, and really thick, which means that your sensitivity is down, but the durability is way way up. For when I was just starting and even now when you are scrambling to find purchase, they can handle it. This shoe is fairly stiff at the front, helping keep you on all but the smallest of edges. The padded tongue is super nice, since all of the other shoes I used cut into the top of my foot around the lace eyelets. The heel fit is really nice, holding me in great. The dual loops are great for pulling them on. You will see tons of people with this shoe on at the easier routes and in the gym, because it is the best shoe for beginners and people looking for comfort.
