Ranked #360 - Snowboards
April 26, 2009
I bought this board (161cm) for the 08-09 season. I wear size 12 boots and I'm 6'0-235 lbs. I'm also using CAD bindings. First off I was pretty surprised at how different the board felt compared to other boards I ride. It had instant response with no slop. I put on new bindings at the same time so some of that could be the CAD's I have on there. (I was used to Burton Missions before that.)
Either way the board is pretty good. It gets some chatter at really high speeds, but not much. I've taken in the park and have had no problems in the pipe (10 foot) or on landing jumps. It doesn't have as much pop as a freestyle board, but it wasn't made for that. Basically it's a great all around board for bigger guys. I would say that the 161 is a great length to get. If you ride a lot of park go shorter, if you bomb down the hill go longer. All in all I'm pretty pleased.
