Much Better Than Expected
By James Day
Ranked #226 - 55 to 30 Degree Synthetic Bags
April 23, 2009
I bought two of these units and combined them into one. I was concerned that they still might not be enough to cover a 6'-6" / 300 lb+ frame. I was surprised to find the combined bag still had plenty of room and was very comfortable.
I needed a lightweight bag for warm weather use. I used it in a 90 degree F environment and the bag was still very comfortable and did not result in any overheating. Prior to this, I had used the bag in a 48 degree F environment with very limited additional clothing on. The bag was still very comfortable.
I was surprised that the bag was able to work that well for me in this range of temperatures.
It is constructed much better than I had expected and I planned to get more. It compresses to a remarkably small size, which makes it ideal for use in my emergency earthquake preparedness kits.
